MDT IPR 167 FG Diamond Burs are designed for precise and controlled interproximal enamel reduction. The slim 167 / 859L pointed-cone profile provides effective access between adjacent teeth and supports gradual enamel reduction, contouring, smoothing, and fine finishing during IPR procedures. This specialized version features a 7.0mm working-head length and a maximum head diameter of Ø1.0mm.
Manufactured in Israel, the burs feature selected diamond particles bonded to Swiss-made, heat-treated, precision-ground stainless-steel shanks. MDT’s bonding technology provides 60% diamond exposure for smooth and efficient cutting, while the Triton® bonding process strengthens the connection between the diamond particles and the instrument to support consistent, long-lasting performance.
The FG friction-grip shank is designed for use with compatible high-speed dental handpieces. The burs are reusable and autoclavable when cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized according to MDT’s instructions. For optimal performance, MDT recommends applying only gentle pressure during use.
