MDT IPR FG Diamond Burs are designed for precise and controlled interproximal enamel reduction. The slim 164 / 852 pointed-cone shape provides access between adjacent teeth and supports gradual enamel reduction, contouring, smoothing, and fine refinement during IPR procedures. This special model is part of the MDT IPR Burs series with a 6.0mm working-head length and a narrow 0.20mm tip.
Manufactured in Israel, the burs feature selected diamond particles bonded to Swiss-made, heat-treated, precision-ground stainless-steel shanks. MDT’s bonding technology provides 60% diamond exposure for smooth and efficient cutting, while the Triton® coating process strengthens the bond between the diamond particles and the instrument to support consistent, long-lasting performance. The extra fine grit is meant for gentle, controlled interproximal enamel reduction, smoothing, and fine finishing.
The FG friction-grip shank is designed for use with compatible high-speed dental handpieces. The burs are reusable and autoclavable when cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized according to MDT’s instructions. For best results, MDT recommends applying only gentle pressure during use.
