Hemostatic gauze contains a bactericide that is effective against a broad spectrum of gram+ and gram- organisms, as well as antibiotic-resistant bacteria such as MRSA, VRE, PSRP, and MRSA. Aegis Lifesciences ORC made of all-natural ingredients, the absorbable hemostat is composed of 100% regenerated and oxidized cellulose, provides a matrix for platelet adhesion, accelerating the formation of the platelet plug that will form the foundation of the fibrin clot.
