Cormed Metal Contour Sectional 30 Matrices and 50 Wedges Set are used when carrying out restorations in the absence of one of the proximal walls of the carious cavity. Contoured metal matrices are the most promising class of matrices. The word "contoured" means that the matrices are formed in three planes, i.e. they are convex with a curvature close to the curvature of the restored tooth. Matrices are available in 3 thicknesses - 25 microns, 35 microns and 50 microns. Metal as a material for matrices has at least two advantages over plastic: metal matrices are thinner and harder, which makes them easier to insert into the interdental space. Also, metal is more durable and better retain its shape during use.

Wooden Anatomic Shaped Wedges made of hard wood (birch, maple). Wood, as a natural material, provides stability and compression, i.e. optimal fit in the interdental space.
