Directa Luxator P-Series Set offers the advantage of working with a penholder grip giving increased tactility, an important feature as these new instruments are thinner and sharper than the original Luxator instruments. Initiating the extraction process with the P-series range will simplify the work considerably. These lightweight, ergonomic, pen-style handle instruments offer access and precision in every extraction. Four blade styles address most surgical applications. All blades are 3mm wide. Steam autoclavable to 273°F.

The P1 periotome has a straight blade shape for apical and general use. It can be identified with its green marking on the handle. The P2 periotome has an inverted curved blade shape for mesial and distal use. It can be identified with its light blue marking on the handle. The P3 periotome has a contra-angle blade shape for lingual and buccal use. It can be identified with its dark blue marking on the handle. The P4 periotome is dual-edged blade shape for extracting or removing fractured parts and roots. It can be identified with its lilac marking on the handle.
