Ketac™ Cem Plus Luting Cement is a self-curing, radiopaque, fluoride-releasing, resin-modified glass ionomer luting cement. The cement consists of a base and catalyst paste, the paste/paste formulation offers greater convenience over the traditional powder/liquid cement systems. The cement is available in a white shade.
The Ketac Cem Plus Luting Cement Paste A is composed of a radiopaque fluoroaluminosilicate glass (FAS glass), opacifying agent, HEMA, water, a proprietary reducing agent that allows for the self-cure methacrylate setting, and a dispersion aid. The Ketac Cem Plus Luting Cement Paste B is composed of a non-reactive zirconia silica filler, the methacrylated polycarboxylic acid, HEMA, BisGMA, water and potassium persulfate.
Convenient, versatile and easy-to use 3M™ Ketac™ Cem Plus Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cement eliminates hand-mixing while offering better bond strength than conventional glass ionomer luting cements.
