Cormed Universal Metal Matrices used for problem-solving of an absence of adjacent teeth in the distal wall, and for restoring the distal and medial contact simultaneously with the help of modern composite materials. The translucent base and metal matrices are anatomically contoured thinnest annular matrices. Translucent matrices are 0.06 mm thick, metal matrices are only 0.035 mm thick. To create a universal tensioning system, a movable plastic retainer is tightly installed on the EXTRA matrix. Ideal tension and tight adhesion to the walls of the tooth is achieved when the matrix is placed on the tooth, by moving the retainer until it fully adheres to the tooth.
